Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Agent to join our team, focusing on the industrial sector. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of customer contacts who have a need for offshoring industrial manufacturing. This role requires a deep understanding and substantial experience in manufacturing processes and supply chains in Asia, particularly in China, India, Vietnam, and Turkey.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Client Acquisition and Management:
o Identify and acquire new clients within the industrial sector with a need for offshoring manufacturing.
o Maintain and expand relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
o Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
2. Market Research and Analysis:
o Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities and stay updated on industry trends.
o Analyze client needs and propose tailored offshoring solutions that meet their specific manufacturing requirements.
3. Sales and Negotiation:
o Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clients.
o Negotiate terms of agreements and close sales deals, ensuring profitable outcomes for the company and satisfaction for the clients.
o Manage the sales pipeline and report on sales activity and performance.
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement, quality control, and logistics, to ensure seamless project execution.
o Communicate client requirements and expectations effectively to internal stakeholders.
5. Travel and Networking:
o Travel as needed to meet clients, attend trade shows, and visit manufacturing sites in Asia.
o Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts and stay connected with key players in the manufacturing sector.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the industrial sector, with a proven track record of successful client acquisition and management.
• Extensive network of contacts within the industrial sector who have a need for offshoring manufacturing.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chains in China, India, Vietnam, and Turkey.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working in a global procurement or sourcing role.
• Multilingual abilities, especially in Mandarin, Hindi, Vietnamese, or Turkish.
