Foxford Woollen Mills is one of Irelands oldest working mills. We have been weaving quality blankets, scarves and other accessories since 1872. Foxford blankets are often given as gifts to new families and are handed down to the next generation and the next.

The Mill was originally established by the Sisters of Charity to provide employment to the people of Foxford at a time of great poverty and famine. At that time, the mill produced mainly functional and affordable blankets.

These days, our customers want products that are functional, affordable and also luxurious. So we concentrate on crafting contemporary designs that take inspiration from the naturally beautiful landscape that surrounds us in the West of Ireland.

We receive hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the world to our Mill in Foxford. We also operate five retail stores in Ireland selling a broad range of lifestyle products.

We are now looking to expand outside of Ireland.

Our export range includes luxuriously soft blankets, scarves, shawls, capes and upholstery material in contemporary and traditional designs which come in a range of wool fibres - cashmere, merino, lambswool and mohair.
